What a difference 6 months can make

6 months ago we had a crazy experience trying to get some professional pictures taken. Lainey cried every time she saw the camera. It was a disaster! Saturday we dared to try again and what a little sweetheart Lainey was. She posed, smiled, and waved at everyone. The goldfish I had in my hand feeding her in between every picture might have contributed to this but hey, whatever works! It was a successful day!

A Day To Celebrate Our Risen Savior

If You're Happy and You Know It

A Week Full of Fun

What a week! Kimberlee, Maddie and Isaiah stayed with us after Lainey's birthday and we packed it full of activity. We have lived in O'Fallon 8 months now and I have been compiling a list of fun kid activities the whole time. Rather than doing one or maybe two we tried them all and it was so much fun! Lainey took the longest nap the day after they left but hasn't stopped asking for them to come back since. It was great to have them for a visit!

Out of the Onesies into the Twosies

My little baby has turned into a little toddler. It's been a quick two years but such an amazing thing to watch her develop. Something new every day. She is cheerful, loving, determined, playful, funny, spunky and tender. What a girl. Words cannot express how blessed I am every day to be her mommy. Our pink poodle party in honor of Lainey's favorite book Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy. Ok...so the story is about a papillon but who can make a cake of that! This was the best mommy could do and I thought it turned out pretty cute!
A little fun with balloons
Her pretty birthday dress that she wanted to try on every day before the party. Such a girly girl!
